This week I had the honor of capturing details and vignettes for a new shop opening up in Mount Vernon.  Re-Feather Your Nest is a consignment and new furniture/decor shop.  The owner, Linda Freed, is also the owner of the Calico Cupboard and Seeds restaurants.

Dirtie Bird likes kitties too... Skagit County Dog Photographer, Skagit County Wedding Photographer, Skagit County Portrait Photographer

I love taking portraits of kitties in their own environments... when they are relaxed and happy to be getting all the attention... just like my friend Jennifer's kitty, Penelope.  I took some portraits of her this afternoon, and she was loving it.  She plopped down on her side and rolled back and forth.  She made sure to pause long enough for me to capture her best angles of course... :)
